I'm a clarinet player. My principal interest is in classical music, from the very beginning to the contemporary authors, but I like to listen to Jazz music too. After I've got the final clarinet degree in 1991, I studied for one year under the direction of Italo Capicchioni (Republic of San Marino), who was the first clarinet of the "Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala" in Milan for half a dozen years. I played music in a wide variety of ensambles, from chamber music to orchestral compositions, and different styles, from popular music to band pieces, from jazz to classical masterpieces.
Recently, I played as first clarinet in the Orchestre Symphonique Genevois for a couple of concerts. A CD is available for the first one, with Mahler's first symphony, recorded in Genève (Victoria-Hall) on 23 Nov 2008.
Repertory
As my repertory I can list many of the principal compositions dedicated to clarinet until the beginning of the XX Century, and a fraction of the subsequent works, including few contemporary pieces Unfortunately, I don't have both clean and short recordings of my performances... Anyway, you can listen to me at least few times: I've collected few analog recordings (dated summer 1996) and converted into MP3 files, that you can download and play.

| Johann Sebastian Bach | Sonata BWV 1001 (my own transcription) Resonance - Music from the ATLAS experiment (recorded in Genève, 1 Oct 2009). Here you can find very few short pieces, non-professionally recorded (and... played) on summer 1996 using my HiFi. They belong to a music collection lasting about 65 minutes that I wanted to give to my friend Alessandro Gandolfi, who is fond of ancient and classical music, especially of vocal music (he is a tenor). He -- thank you very much, Alessandro -- converted in digital form my tape, and gave me back a CD!
